Reginald Alec Martin (1908–1971) was a British author of a variety of children's series and other novels. He usually wrote under a pseudonym, including E. C. Eliott (or E. C. Eliot) and Rex Dixon. As Eliott he wrote the Kemlo and Tas series of books. As Dixon he wrote the Pocomoto series of books. His other books for children included the Joey series, the Ginger Pennylove series, and the Dance and Co. Detectives series (''The Mystery of...''), under the name of Robert Martin. In 1954 he wrote ''The Wheel in the Sky'', a science fiction novel about the building of Earth's first man-made satellite, published under the pseudonym Rafe Bernard. He wrote westerns for adults under the names Hank McCoy, Brett Cameron, Scott Martin, and Tex Bancroft. He also wrote series books based on the popular 1960s television shows ''Daktari'' (as Frank Denver), ''The Invaders'' (as Rafe Bernard), and ''The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.''
